Polestar Automotive Holding UK PLC (NASDAQ: PSNY), the renowned Swedish electric performance car brand, has released its global delivery figures for the second quarter of 2023, showcasing an impressive performance. After experiencing a remarkable surge in deliveries during the month of June, witnessing a staggering 73% year-on-year growth, Polestar has achieved its most successful second quarter to date by delivering approximately 15,800 vehicles, reflecting a remarkable 36% increase compared to the previous year. This outstanding performance sets the stage for Polestar’s ambitious target of delivering an estimated 60,000-70,000 vehicles by the end of 2023, with the company already surpassing the milestone of 27,900 deliveries in the first half of the year.

Thomas Ingenlath, the esteemed CEO of Polestar, expresses his satisfaction with the ongoing trend of escalating deliveries, which has led to an all-time high second quarter. In a strategic move to expand its global presence and accommodate its expanding product lineup, Polestar plans to open more than 20 permanent Polestar Spaces in the upcoming months. These new spaces will replace the existing temporary locations and offer larger facilities to cater to the growing demands of the brand. Additionally, the much-anticipated Polestar 3 display cars are set to make their debut in these spaces in the coming weeks, generating heightened anticipation among Polestar enthusiasts worldwide.
